How to Tackle your Q4 Marketing Calendar

When October rolls around, it always gives me an, "Oh wow, the holidays are coming!" moment. It also brings a resurgence of energy toward my business and goals for the remainder of the year for my clients. Q4 is always the busiest time of year for marketers so right now, I'm totally organizing and getting ready for it.

SO. If you too have been thinking about transitions, or feeling the seasonal change to stir up some new energy, I've got a few ideas for you.

A Quick Q4 Planning Guide:

AUGUST
 Where are the gaps?

This has been a great time to revisit your resources and start thinking about potential agencies, contractors, or additional support you need.

SEPTEMBER
 Campaign planning and asset creation.

September is the time to organize and start preparing for those launches. Plan shoots, deliverables, and content to create. Prioritize what you think will resonate with your audience.

OCTOBER
Content creation + channel expansion.

Finalize your channel mix. (Are you prioritizing digital, social, email, events...?) Focus on platforms that have proven ROI but include at least one new experiment. Make your creative content, A/B test messaging, social posts, emails, and landing pages.

NOVEMBER
Campaign rollout.

And so begins the busiest marketing time of the year! Make sure you are aligned with your team, contractors/agencies, and partners on key dates, promotions, and launch goals. Monitor how things are landing with your audience.

DECEMBER
Planning for the year ahead!

Analyze campaign performance. Identify opportunities for growth and support you want to bring in. Reflect on what worked and didn't work this past year. What do you want to change in the new year and what kind of team do you need to make it happen?
