ABOUT THE PROJECT
Sheryl founded Dare to Detour in 2017 to support women who want to try solo travel and get off the beaten path with authentic retreat experiences around the globe. After five years online, Sheryl had built a strong Instagram following for Dare to Detour which, unfortunately, was hacked a month before her upcoming Montana retreat. I encouraged Sheryl to re-engage with her email list and we’ve since built an ongoing email marketing strategy with weekly personal email newsletters that share her values and inspirational Detour ideas. Sheryl was also open to pivoting into building a personal brand for Dare to Detour instead of reviving the brand’s Instagram account. I’ve supported Sheryl in crafting social media messages and content that align with her journey and her brand.
